✨ A Meaningful Year in the Heart of Europe Awaits You! As Pearl Youth Society, we are offering you a very special opportunity from Budapest, the enchanting capital of Hungary! By joining the 8th edition of the Piece of My Heart project under the European Solidarity Corps, you can both develop yourself and make a real difference. In this project where young people with and without disabilities learn, grow, and build community together, you too can be part of this transformation! 💛 🗂️ Project Details Activity Type: European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Long-Term Volunteering Project Dates: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2027 Location: EKH Community House, Budapest, Hungary Participant Profile: Volunteers aged 18–30 with education or experience in social work, psychology, education, special education teaching, youth work, or other helping professions are sought. Those with a background in communications, public relations, or marketing may also apply. Open-minded, reliable, and respectful individuals with a strong interest in inclusivity, solidarity, and community work with young people with disabilities are preferred. Accommodation and Meals: Covered under the Erasmus+ programme. The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is an EU programme that offers young people aged 18–30 the opportunity to volunteer in projects that provide social benefit in Europe or around the world. Long-term volunteering projects generally last between 2 and 12 months; during this time, volunteers benefit from accommodation, meals, pocket money, and travel support. Built on values such as social cohesion, inclusivity, and solidarity, this programme makes a significant contribution to both the personal and professional development of young people. The Piece of My Heart project exists with exactly this spirit — to support the equal participation of people with disabilities in social life! 🌍
